Let's build seamless operations for your food business.
Mig Mig is the Restaurant Operating System for Canadian restaurants, cafes, bakeries, pastry shops and grocers. A venture of PiTech, built to connect ordering, delivery, guests and daily operations in one place.
Born at PiTech
A product of the PiTech product and engineering studio.
Mig Mig is one of the businesses in the PiTech family. Its product engineering, growth experience and core infrastructure were shaped by the PiTech team, then focused entirely on the daily reality of Canadian food businesses.

The Mig Mig journey
From one restaurant OS to an ecosystem where everyone wins.
Stage 01
Listening to Canadian food businesses
It started with real problems: orders arriving on too many tablets, marketplace fees eating margins, guest relationships owned by someone else, and daily operations spread across disconnected tools.
- Orders split across many screens
- High fees on every order
- No direct line to repeat guests
Stage 02
The idea takes shape at PiTech
Inside the PiTech product and engineering studio, those problems became one clear question: what if a restaurant could run every order, guest and service from a single system it actually controls?
- Product discovery with operators
- One system instead of many apps
- Fair, transparent economics
Stage 03
The Restaurant Operating System
PiTech engineered an all in one operating system for restaurant owners. The pile of separate restaurant apps disappeared into a single OS, and the daily headaches of running a restaurant were solved in one place. Owners saw operating costs drop sharply, key performance indicators climb, and the return on their marketing and advertising spend rise.
- One OS instead of many apps
- Operating costs came down
- Stronger KPIs and marketing ROI

Stage 04
The Mig Mig food delivery app
With the operating system running, the next step was demand: Mig Mig launched its own food delivery app, connecting the restaurants on the OS directly to hungry guests across Canada.
- Direct line from kitchen to guest
- Orders flow into the same board
- Guest relationship stays with the restaurant

Stage 05
Our own drivers
Delivery needed to be as reliable as the ordering. Mig Mig brought drivers into the ecosystem, so the trip from kitchen to doorstep became part of the same system, not a handoff to a stranger.
- Drivers inside the ecosystem
- Reliable, tracked delivery
- One system end to end
Stage 06
The price auction
Then came the boldest move: an auction that competes to bring the best possible price onto the customer's bill. Better value for the guest, healthy economics for the restaurant, fair work for the driver.
- Best price on the customer bill
- Fair economics for every side
- A first of its kind concept
Stage 07
One ecosystem where everyone wins
All of it together became something Canada, and North America, had not seen before: a single ecosystem where the restaurant wins, the driver wins and the customer wins. That is Mig Mig today.
- Restaurant wins
- Driver wins
- Customer wins
- Ordering
- Delivery
- Reservations
- Loyalty
- Guest wallet
- Gift cards
- Google reviews
- Website
- Daily operations
Where the story happened
From Business Bay to West Georgia.
Mig Mig did not appear out of nowhere. It grew up inside PiTech, office by office, each address marking a bigger ambition than the last.
- The foundation
Dubai
Business Bay
Where the engineering discipline was forged. Years of building enterprise operating systems before a single line of Mig Mig existed.
- The Canadian beginning
West Vancouver
1925 Russet Way
The first Canadian home. PiTech entered Canada deliberately, learning the market from the inside, close to real small businesses.
- Where Mig Mig was built
West Vancouver
1814 Marine Dr
Where Mig Mig was born and built. The studio became a venture builder, and the restaurant operating system took shape here.
- The next chapter
Downtown Vancouver
1055 West Georgia St, 25th Floor
The next chapter. A headquarters being prepared for the scale Mig Mig is growing into.
Where this is going
Canadian born. Built for North America.
Mig Mig is proudly Canadian and designed for Canada first. But the problem it solves is not Canadian. Restaurants everywhere in North America face the same fees, the same fragmented tools and the same fight for their own guests. The ecosystem that works here is built to travel, and the work to take it further has already begun.
- A complete operating system, not a single feature, so expansion is replication, not reinvention.
- An ecosystem model where every new city makes the whole network stronger.
- A venture studio behind it that has done enterprise scale before.
The reason Mig Mig exists
More than a business. A responsibility.
Of the three things every human being needs, food, clothing and shelter, food comes first. And in a decade marked by weak economies, rising costs and crisis after crisis, families feel it first at the dinner table. Mig Mig was built around one belief: the food cycle can be designed so that everyone inside it is better off. Food reaches people at a lower price, restaurants keep more of what they earn, and drivers take home more for the same road. That is not charity attached to the side of a business. That is the business.
A lighter family basket
Every part of the system, from the price auction to delivery at cost, exists to bring the real price of a good meal down for the guest, never to cut quality to get there.
Healthier economics for restaurants
Listing is free, there is no fixed fee, and commission stays at 11% only on orders that arrive through the Mig Mig marketplace. More of every order stays in the restaurant.
Better earnings for drivers
Drivers sit inside the ecosystem, not at its edges. When the system runs well, the people doing the driving feel it in their own income first.
How most marketplaces work
- They set restaurants against each other and sell the winner's spot back to them.
- Growth means paid placement, promotions and gamified marketing, and the platform profits from every round.
- The platform wins. The restaurant grows weaker. The guest pays more.
How Mig Mig works
- Every business builds its own circle of loyal guests, so success compounds inside the business instead of leaking to the platform.
- Visibility is earned by the food a restaurant serves, not bought from an auction of ads.
- The restaurant wins. The driver wins. The guest wins. One outcome for everyone.
Every food business already has its audience: the people who love its food. The job was never to make restaurants outbid each other for attention. The job is to help each one find those people and keep them close, order after order. That is the kind of growth a promotion can never buy, and it is the standard we hold every part of this system to.
